- Professor Sunyoung Park publishes an article in Nature pinpointing the source of CFC-11 emissions from Eastern China. The research is featured in a New York Times article!

- Arianna Kazez presents a poster on her work with ozone at the Gordon Conference on Molecular Interactions and Dynamics.
- Julia Carlstad passed her Qualifying Exam (in record time!). Congratulations, Julia!
- Dr. Lauren Garofalo submits two first-authored manuscripts in one day! One to JGR Atmospheres and one to Advances in Atmospheric Chemistry (a book chapter).
- Dr. Aaron Wiegel is hired as a Data Scientist at Synthego in Redwood City. Congratulations!

- Congratulations to Dr. Lauren Garofalo for being selected as an ACCESS XIV participant (Atmospheric Chemistry Emerging Senior Scientists) at the 2017 Atmospheric Chemistry Gordon Conference. She joins a very presitgious group of 'emerging senior scientists'!
- Dr. Mica Smith starts her postdoc at MIT in the group of Bill Green in Chemical Engineering on September 1st. Congratulations, Mica!
- Congratulations to Lauren Garofalo who has been awarded her PhD!
- Arianna Kazez passes her qualifying exam. Congratulations!
- Lauren Garofalo will start postdoctoral research with Professor Delphine Farmer at Colorado State University in July. She will be studying the emission and near-field evolution of aerosols produced by wildfires as part of the FIREX campaign.
